I'm sick and tired of people saying that fan character OCs aren't really "original" characters. I've been seeing this a lot around sites like Quizilla, and here. Let's face it: Whether you have an original fiction, RP, or fan character, they're all the same. They were created and thought out by many individuals who strive to make their characters different, unique, and more importantly, original. And people have no right saying that making characters for your favorite fandom, is insulting to the creators. They're not them, and they wouldn't know either. Also, how would that be insulting if fans are only showing their love for their favorite fandoms by writing fanfiction, and drawing fanart with their OCs? It's only the fans showing their love and appreciation. How about the Soul Calibur series? They actually encourage you to make your own original fighter, and they added a variety of armor parts, and great customization to suit anyone's preferred tastes. And don't get me started on freedom of expression and creativity. Everyone is entitled to create whatever they please. Fanfiction, fanart, OCs, ect. Oh, and they also have the bloody nerve to tell people what they should be doing. Like writing "original stories, and drawing original fiction characters". Well, no one is obviously going to conform to that. Sorry, but it's the sad truth. No one cares what you think, so lay off. On a side note: For the last friggin' time, ALL OCS AREN'T MARY-SUES/GARY-STUS! Stop stereotyping already. Please. I apologize if I'm sounding a bit angry, but this has been pissing me off for years now, and I felt that I should take a stand to stick up for my opinions and beliefs. And since no one (I think) has made a stamp like this, I just thought it needed to be done. Badly. Anyone who feels the same or whatever may use this. I wish I could.
EDIT: Uploaded a newer version, cause I thought the other one wasn't that specific.
